Flirty Ponytail

If your hair has just been washed, then spritz with texturizing spray to add volume and help your style last all day long. Next, use a fine-toothed comb to tease strands at the crown, adding extra height. The next step will depend on the texture of your natural hair. If you’re working with stick-straight strands, you’ll want to add some loose curls to give your pony that extra oomph. Use a wide barrel curling iron to curl 1-inch sections starting at ear height. If your hair has a natural wave or curls you can skip this step. Next, pull strands into a pony at the crown and secure with a clear elastic. Take a small section from your ponytail and wrap it around the base of your pony to hide the elastic. Secure with a bobby pin. Pull out some face-framing pieces and touch these up with the curling iron if needed.
Night Time
Quickly take your ponytail from the office to dinner and drinks with a few accessories. First, touch up any fallen curls and add a touch of hairspray to tame any flyaways. Add a satin or velvet ribbon in any hue and tie in a simple bow. This immediately elevates your look, taking it from simple to glamorous. Another option is to pop-in some shimmering bobby-pins. Curl one-inch sections away from the face with a wide barrel curling iron, starting with the bottom half of your hair. After wrapping each section around the barrel, hold for 10 to 15 seconds. There are a couple of easy ways to take this look from day to night. One option is to add some soft and sultry hair extensions for extra volume and length. Another option is to add either a French or Dutch braid to one side and secure with a bobby pin. Start a small braid at the very top of your part. Working downwards, add additional hair to each of the three sections until you’ve reached your ear. Secure with a bobby pin and barrette. A similar option is to braid either side and secure at the centre of the back of your head. Carefully pull-apart braids to create additional volume and texture. Braids will add a little extra detail and draw attention to your face.
Sultry Side Bun

A polished side bun is chic and practical for the office, but also sultry enough for date night. First, part your hair in the usual spot. Next, brush hair well to ensure it’s completely knot-free. Apply a small amount of smoothing serum to strands to prevent frizz. Pull strands into a low ponytail behind your ear and secure with a clear elastic. Backcomb your ponytail with a fine-toothed comb to add texture. Separate ponytail into two sections.
